The Koder House was the residence of one of the most illustrious Jewish family in Cochin - the Koders, which has now been restored to its full glory and turned into a three-storeyed heritage boutique hotel.The hotel overlooks the beautiful landscape of Fort Cochin and is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Fort Cochin beach.
This House had been a host to Presidents, Prime Ministers, Viceroys, Ambassadors and other prominent dignitaries. This dwelling also finds a prominent place on INTACH's list of heritage sites, and a visit to Fort Cochin is considered to be incomplete without a visit to this historic monument.Koder House, Cochin, offers six elegantly furnished luxurious suites. Each suite covers an area of 800 sq.ft. with spectacular teak wood panelling on the floors, ceiling and stairways.
The suites have their own distinctive style and decor. Each suite comprises of a bedroom, desk, television, large dressing/lounging area and luxurious bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower cubicle.
The hotel has two suites per floor and four of the six suites come with balconies that overlook the surreal Chinese Fishing Nets on the Fort Cochin beach, channel and park that forms the heart of Fort Kochi's family-orientated community.
